An Information Technology Specialist I (ITS I), who is enthusiastic about system development using the Microsoft software development stack (.NET Framework, Visual Studio, SQL Server, and Azure DevOps), collaborating with users to solve and analyze problems.

Create and sustain custom web and desktop IT systems using the Microsoft software development stack. Your role entails collaborating with subject matter experts and fellow IT personnel to develop and maintain these systems

Working Conditions

Remote-Centered: This position is headquartered in Sacramento and is remote-centered for eligible applicants residing in California; up to three days per week telework and up to two days per week in the office.

Desirable Qualifications In addition to evaluating each candidate's relative ability, as demonstrated by quality and breadth of experience, the following factors will provide the basis for competitively evaluating each candidate:
  • Experience with web application development
  • Experience with database development (stored procedures, views, functions, ad hoc queries)
  • Working knowledge of a SQL programming language (e.g., T-SQL)
  • Experience with troubleshooting and debugging IT systems
  • Experience using Microsoft technology stack (Visual Studio, .NET framework, .NET core, SQL Server, Internet Information Services, Azure DevOps)
  • Experience with process improvements
