Chipton-Ross is seeking an Assembler for a contract opportunity in Liberty, MS.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible to assemble fabric patterns according to work instructions, drawings, etc. to create air holding devices. Seams of the fabric are joined by applying adhesive or through a thermal welding process. Hand tools are used during construction of the assembly using adhesives. Forced hot air and mechanical pressure take the place of the hand tools in the thermos bonding process. Performs all duties as outlines in the Basic Training Checklist.
o Performs tasks assigned by Lead and Production Manager.
o Participates in training programs.
o Accurately reports all labor transactions.
o Supports and trains new employees as needed.
o Supports Company goals and missions.
o Complies with all safety regulations.
o Treats co-workers and supervisors with respect.
o Maintains a clean and orderly work area.

o Employee must have the ability to red and interpret documents including safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedures, and manuals. The employee must be able to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in either written, oral, or diagram form.

EDUCATION:
Accredited High School Diploma or GED.
o 1-3 years related experience and/or training: or equivalent combination of education and experience.
