Job Description/Responsibilities

The Department of Clinical Dentistry invites application for a full-time tenure or clinical track position in the Section of Pediatric Dentistry at the Southern Illinois University School of Dental Medicine (SIU SOM).

Responsibilities:
As faculty, you'll play a vital role in shaping the future of dentistry by providing comprehensive didactic and clinical education to both predoctoral students and postdoctoral Advanced Education in General Dentistry
(AEGD) residents. Your responsibilities will include:

• Dynamic Teaching: Deliver engaging lectures in a pre-clinical setting, sharing your expertise and knowledge with eager students.
• Clinical Supervision: Provide hands-on supervision and instruction in the care of a diverse pediatric patient population, where every day presents unique challenges and learning opportunities.
• Clinical Practice: Participate in pediatric dental treatment in various clinical settings, including the Main Clinic of the SIU-SOM, the East St. Louis Clinic of the SIU-SOM, the Surgical Center in our Advanced Care Clinic, and at Alton Memorial Hospital.
