Job Summary:

Lockton Dunning Benefits is currently seeking a results-oriented Associate Account Executive to support multiple client accounts in the areas of Life, Disability and Leave Administration. ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Collect, review and prepare data necessary to prepare and issue RFPs to market for quotes on Life, Disability, and/or Leaves program(s) for multiple client accounts
  • Distribute RFI/RFPs and coordinate vendor RFI/RFP responses
  • Conduct qualitative and quantitative comparative analyses for Life, Disability and Leave Administration Requests for Proposal
  • Perform quality control and data validation checks on the various client data sets
  • Integrate data from multiple data sets into relevant client reports
  • Assist in the review of all agreements and/or documents related to client’s Life/Disability coverage and/or Leave Administration services including plan/policy documents and administrative agreements to ensure accuracy and prevent gaps in coverage
  • Review specific benefit design elements that are outdated and have pricing impacts to current risk/pricing baseline
  • Coordinate workflow with Senior Account Executive and/or Account Executive
  • Prepare task lists, reports and presentations as needed
  • Develop and update tracking for project and client deliverables
  • Continuous quality improvement on processes, policies, and reporting to improve efficiency and innovation
  • Other responsibilities as required


Requirements:

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS REQUIRED

  • Bachelor's Degree required, insurance or business-related field preferred
  • Minimum 1 to 2 years of experience in the insurance industry with a firm working knowledge of Life, AD&D and Disability benefits with a basic understanding of risk and insurance concepts preferred
  • Underwriting/pricing experience for life and disability group insurance benefits preferred
  • Knowledge of and experience with integrated disability and absence management programs and practices a plus
  • Strong customer service skills with a proven track record of delivering exceptional client service
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook) with advanced ability to manipulate large spreadsheets
  • Understands data sources, processes, formulas and output
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills with ability to manage changing priorities as needed
  • Ability to perform work accurately and completely in a timely manner
  • Excellent communication, analytical and critical thinking skills with proven ability to interact with associates and vendors at all levels of responsibility
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize and scale in a fast-paced environment
  • Legal right to work in the United States
