In this role as the Assistant Nurse Manager, you will play a vital role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the nursing unit. From managing staffing and personnel to monitoring the environment, driving performance improvement, and mitigating risks, you will be a key leader in ensuring the provision of exceptional care. Collaborating closely with the Nurse Manager, your insights and communication will contribute to long-term problem-solving and strategic planning. This is a 32-bed unit which comprises acute, telemetry and intermediate care for cardiac surgery, vascular surgery, heart and lung transplant, and general surgery patients. Who Should Apply :

• BSN required
• Active Maryland or Compact RN license is required
• BLS CPR certification required
• RN work experience required. The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of acute care RN work experience, including 3 years with leadership and/or supervisory responsibilities
• Ability to lead others, communicate effectively, problem solve, motivate others, promote cost-effective use of resources, and apply principles of evidence-based practice.
