Insight Global is seeking a brazer to support one of our largest federal clients in Hampton Roads. This idividual will be responsible for supporting a small team by providing brazing / pipefitting responsibilties in a marine shipboard environment aboard Naval vessels. The ideal candidate will have previous experience with any/all related pipefitting procedures for multiple types of piping systems including chillwater and refrigerant. This candidate will be expected to work on site 5 days per week in Newport News, VA.

Required Skills & Experience

* Proficient with standard pipe fitting procedures.

* Able to qualify in the following areas: P-3 piping, Face Feeding, Insert - Grade III, IV, V).

* Able to interpret blueprints, drawings and/or specifications to fabricated and/or install piping systems.

* Able to identify system and component location based on ship structure.

* Proficient with the use of layout tools.

* Able to provide hand tools per trades designation.

* 4 -- 7 Yrs. of experience at a minimum.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- Prior Navy background
- Previous experience with weapons and/or aircraft elevators
