BREAST IMAGING RADIOLOGIST
UNIVERSITY OF FLORIDA

The Department of Radiology at the University of Florida is actively recruiting a full-time breast imaging radiologist to join a growing practice based at UF Health in Gainesville. This non-tenure track position is at the rank of Clinical Assistant/Associate/Professor, which will be designated based on candidate's prior academic work and/or experience.
Requirements include MD, DO, or equivalent degree with Board Certification/Board Eligibility in Radiology and fellowship training in mammography. Candidates must be eligible for licensure in the State of Florida. Expertise in all aspects of breast imaging is expected, including digital tomosynthesis interpretation, ultrasound, MRI, and image-guided procedures using tomosynthesis, stereo, ultrasound and MRI.
Work schedule can be flexible with standard coverage 4-5 days/week and an occasional weekend half-day to accommodate screener volumes. Full benefits apply with health, disability and life insurance, malpractice coverage with tail coverage and sovereign immunity in the State of Florida, retirement investments with matching funds, and ongoing cost of licensure and MOC.
Clinical responsibilities include patient care, teaching of house staff and other learners, and participation in interdisciplinary conferences. The department offers resources and support for research and innovative education projects.
Additional faculty development funds are provided for CME and professional society membership. University of Florida College of Medicine also invests in continuing education opportunities for its faculty in allied degrees and in leadership.
