A client of Insight Global in the Lansing, MI area is looking for a Business Analyst to join their team. This individual will serve as a liaison between third party vendors and our client to ensure they are supported and meeting compliance requirements. This individual will be gathering requirements, writing test plans & use cases, and submitting requests for change.

Required Skills & Experience

Must Haves:

* 5+ years of experience gathering requirements from users:

identifying impacted business processes

assessing business needs

identifying IT solution integration.

GAP analysis

SWOT analysis

* 5+ years of experience designing technical and business requirement documentation including:

wireframes or screen mockups,

context diagrams

benefits realization

business process models

workflow diagrams

traceability matrix

* 5+ years of experience with Agile methodology / SCRUM processes and ceremonies including:

Daily Scrum

Sprint Planning

Backlog Grooming

Sprint Reviews

Sprint Retrospective

* Familiarity with writing test plans and use cases.

* Working knowledge of Systems Engineering Methodology (SEM) and Project Management Methodology (PMM)

* Familiarity with the secure application development lifecycle (SADLC)

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Plusses:

* Experience working with Azure DevOps and utilizing its functionality.

* Experience eliciting and decomposing requirements into user stories and acceptance criteria.
