What You'll Do

This position is charged with acquiring and maintaining an in-depth knowledge of SETS system functionality, upgrades, and enhancements, and providing first-level technical assistance and problem resolution for users of the SETS system. The ideal job candidate will be an independent worker who is able to collect, analyze and process data quickly and accurately, define unusual problems, establish facts and draw complex conclusions. Responsibilities include researching, analyzing and evaluating reported issues to distinguish between user and system errors, responding to CSEA inquiries and educating users in the proper use of the system, assisting users through the problem-solving process, and pro-active review and follow-up on SETS financial transactions and processes.

Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm.

Travel: Travel required, as needed. Must provide own transportation, or in order to operate a state vehicle, you must have a valid drivers license.

Qualifications
The ideal candidate, at minimum, must have the following:

Completion of undergraduate core coursework OR (2) years' experience in social or behavioral science, pre-medicine, business administration, public administration, human services as defined in series purpose, OR comparable field (note: this required education and/or experience shall not be applied to satisfy the following):

AND

Support Enforcement Tracking System (SETS) positions, requires (24) months recent experience (i.e., within past 5 years) in delivery of human services that included explaining and applying child support laws, policies and procedures and child support IV-D regulations mandated by Ohio Department of Job & Family Services & using SETS computer systems AND (6) months training OR (6) months experience in operating personal computer and using office system software, that is Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, or like software package.

Pay Information

This position is in the State of Ohio's 1199 Pay Schedule, Pay Range 13. Unless required by legislation or union contract, starting salary will be the minimum salary of that pay range (step 1, currently $31.86 per hour). These ranges provide a standardized pathway for pay increases. With continued employment, new hires move to the next step in the range after 6 months and annually thereafter. Cost of Living Adjustments increase wages in these ranges each fiscal year. The current step progression wages are in the table below.
