Tasks
As the Buyer / AOG Coordinator, you will perform the following duties:

  • Purchase, loan and expedite material using the most economical means in-order to meet our customer's demand
  • Work independently on material sourcing and logistics coordination tasks
  • Process, coordinate and document all material requests
  • Proactively work on clarifications and discrepancies as they occur
  • Initiate, coordinate and track shipments in cooperation with freight forwarders in-order to fulfill customer requirements in a timely manner
  • Attend customer meetings and conference calls
  • Additional duties include material supply during heavy maintenance visits (HMV), ensuring correct cost booking, data entry per LHT's procedures, and monitor customer orders

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a combination of the below requirements:

  • High school diploma/GED required
  • College degree/vocational training desirable
  • Bachelor's degree desirable
  • At least 3 years of experience in the Aviation Industry i.e. Technical Purchasing, MRO, Material, Planner, AOG Buyer, Maintenance Planner, Sales, Logistics and Warehousing, or Maintenance desirable
  • Military experience desirable
  • Fluency in English language required
  • German and Spanish language desirable
  • MEL, IPC, CMM familiarity, maintenance knowledge desirable
  • MS Office and SAP as expert
  • Excellent detail oriented
  • Excellent communication skills
