Cable Assembler

Apex Systems is hiring for a Cable Assembler with a large government client!

Location: On-site in Sterling, VA
Schedule: Monday - Friday, Standard Business Hours
Contract Length: 6-month Contract-to-Hire opportunity
Overview:

• 1+ years of experience in building cables, know how to read drawings and cable run sheet.
• Using hand crimp tools, DMC, Molex, Terminal lug crimper, Tyco, Hirose, JST tool and BNC crimper.
• Must have knowledge of industry of electronics.
• Must be familiar with connector, Molex, Tyco, AMP, Cannon, JST, Hirose, Mil spec, Cannon, etc.
• Must have 1+ years of experience of soldering PC board surface mount and through-hole components and Mil Connector.
• Creating cables, harnessing, terminating, soldering, etc.
• Preferred, not required: IPC-620 and IPC-J-STD-001.
