Under the direction of the Staff Services Manager I (SSM I), the Office Technician performs a variety of duties for the board's Administration Unit that are essential to the effective operation of the board. See attached duty statement for full scope of duties.

The work hours are Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., in an office environment.

Working Conditions
The incumbent works 40 hours per week in an office setting, with artificial light and temperature control. The ability to use a personal computer and telephone is essential. The incumbent may spend 85% to 95% of the working day using a personal computer. The position requires bending and stooping to retrieve files, walking and occasional light lifting, up to 10-25 pounds (for assistance with records retention).
