We work as trusted advisors to CFO's, COO's, CIO's and other key executives to advise, implement, and deliver as-a service solutions, improving finance, shared service and real estate operations, and helping clients develop strategies to support enterprise-wide decision making.

Work You'll Do

As a Manager, you will lead and deliver small engagements, or components of larger more complex engagements, that identify, design, and implement creative business and technology solutions for large companies.

Manager level responsibilities include:
  • Provide service excellence by identifying key client business issues
  • Determine client needs by supplementing the standard assessment techniques and tools with innovative approaches
  • Evaluate and validate analysis and developing recommendations for the client in the context of the overall engagement
  • You will be expected to implement and oversee the quality of deliverables and effectively manage the team and day-to-day relationships to ensure exceptional performance.
  • Participate in the development and presentation of proposals for business development activities.
  • Manage, mentor, and develop team members
The Team

CFO Enterprise Value

Our CFO Enterprise Value team works as trusted advisors to the finance and real estate C-suite addressing finance strategy, location strategy, organization performance, large capital programs, enterprise value creation, and investor relations strategy. In addition, we offer Global Business Services (GBS), finance service delivery model and digital delivery transformation services as well as advising clients on complex global site selection and location and footprint design solutions.

Qualifications

Required:
  • Eight plus years of relevant consulting experience in a professional services environment, with a large or boutique consulting firm, or serving as an internal consultant within industry.
  • Experience working in Finance organizations or consulting setting, advising CFOs on one or more of the following areas: finance transformation, process improvements, financial planning redesign, service delivery model design, and implementation
  • Knowledge of finance strategy, enterprise value creation, finance data strategy, management reporting strategy and design.
  • Practical experience in Finance Service Delivery, Finance Operations, FP&A, Finance Strategy, or EPM
  • Experience with Finance in a Digital world technologies such as process automation through robotics, predictive analytics, and visualization, etc.
  • Experience developing a vision for the finance organization and realizing the vision through large-scale transformations encompassing finance process redesign, service delivery model development, and technology implementations.
  • Developing Digital solutions (e.g., predictive planning, scenario-based models, ERP, process automation, analytics, and visualizations); Ability to lead complex benchmarking studies for finance service delivery models, and ability to develop and execute plans to achieve future state needs (e.g. operating model structure with shared services, COEs, spans and layers, etc.).
  • Planning, budgeting, and forecasting optimization, zero-based budgeting (ZBB), cost and profitability management optimization, management reporting and anaylis, EPM design.
  • Experience in Cost & Profitability Management, Planning, Budgeting & Forecasting, Management Reporting ZBB (Cost Reduction)
  • Specific experience should include, but not limited to, assessing the Finance organization, identifying initiatives supporting a future state roadmap; Deep understanding of order-to-cash, procure-to-pay, record-to-report, Accelerate Close Cycles, and business partnering across people, process, and technology dimensions.
  • Ability to identify root causes of problems, implement solutions, build-out reporting and dashboards, driving analytics and insights to address issues.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the US without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
  • Ability to travel up to 50%, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
  • Bachelor's degree from accredited university
Preferred:
  • Ability to interact at all levels of the client organization, build consensus and foster change
  • Ability to work independently, manage small engagements or parts of larger engagements
  • Experience with pre-sales, proposals, and RFP activities
  • Superior critical thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Willingness to mentor and counsel junior staff
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills; professional competence in the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams)

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $131,175 to $218,625.
