An automotive company in the Georgetown, KY area is looking for a Civil/Structural Engineering SME to join the plant operations team providing technical expertise across their North American plants. This resource will serve as the subject matter expert related to ACS (Architectural, Civil, and Structural) systems to investigate building industry trends, automotive plant trends, and current/past issues to introduce innovation and improvements. Responsibilities will also include the following:

* Providing support for commercial building design and pre-construction planning

* Support the development of North American building standards and specifications

* Work with internal stakeholders to develop project criteria, scope, estimate, and project schedules

* Review internal system drawings from outside firms to support their project implementations

* Presenting findings to internal and external resources

Required Skills & Experience
- 5+ years' experience in industrial or commercial building construction
- Licensed PE
- Understanding specifications/certifications
- Any industrial experience (manufacturing environment), transportation engineering
- Experience in a manufacturing environment
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or similar

Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- Automotive Industry experience
- Estimation, scheduling, and proposal development experience
