Primarily responsible for daily operations of all Child and Adolescent CPEP program, to include the daily operations of 6 Extended Observation beds, Interim Crisis Clinic, Children's Crisis Intervention, Specialist program, Telepsychiatry and Child CPEP Peer Bridger's program.

Coordinate the review, approval, and transfer of patients from external facilities, into the inpatient unites within Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Reconcile census with Nursing & Clinical staff. Inquire bed census from In-Patient Units.

Communicates with admitting in a timely fashion regarding erroneous unite/bed assignments of patients; on unit transfers; inter unite transfers; discharges.

Communicate Discharges & Treat & Release information.

Maintain the clinical review schedule of onsite Bellevue staff.

Update the external Departmental bed board with accurate information regarding incoming transfers.

Communicate with multidisciplinary staff members across services to ensure efficient and timely transfers of patients.

Facilitate communication between MD, RN's and other staff and hospital service. Notify MD, RN and other staff of information needs or data as indicated, e.g. phone call to repot lab results, etc.

Coordinate intra-hospital tests, procedures, appropriate transportation and equipment needed for transportation. Follow up with phone calls to receive departments if transport or other delay occurs and notify Administrator during periods of extreme delay.

Send and receive faxes, i.e. pharmacy, dietary, etc; Page personnel as requested.

Reports out to next-tour clerical member as needed.

Conducts Bed search for patient within the Children's CEP to outside facilities as needed.

Performing weekly environmental Child and Adolescent Childe CPEP.

Maintaining facilities/maintenance request log. Contacting departmental manager and/or facilities to report repair needs. Take initiative to report unsafe environmental conditions, (i.e. broken equipment, water on floors, etc.) Aggregate and prepare monthly reports on environmental issues.

Responsible for providing inventory for the offices, inpatient unites and Partial Hospitalization program and ordering office supplies.

Provides administrative support in preparation for all site visits from regulatory agencies, to include assistance with the creation of policies, manuals and requested documents as needed.

Participates in all hospital wide meetings related to services, shares information with staff and clinical teams.

Minimum Qualifications
1. A Masters Degree or advanced clinical degree from an accredited college or university and two years of experience serving as a lead in soliciting, defining, and managing requirements for internally and externally developed software in a clinical, allied health, non-allied health, behavioral health, information technology, information services, business, analytics or related area; or, one year of experience in a relevant clinical and/or healthcare administration role/function; or
2. A Baccalaureate Degree from an accredited college or university and five years of experience as described above; or
3. A satisfactory combination of education, training, and experience.
4. Specialty certification(s) issued by a national commercially available program, state, professional society, academic or technical institution in an area(s) listed above, may be credited on a month-to-month basis toward the required work experience for a total of one year.
