SUMMARY The Production Controller is responsible for maintaining the AAR Management staff and customers are up-to-date on all work cards. They are responsible for reviewing and maintaining inventory of work packages and log books. They must also enter all pertinent work card information into STAAR. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES The Production Controller is responsible for the following: Receive initial aircraft work package from planning. Accomplish aircraft induction inventory on incoming package from planning. Place work package on boards using the zone and skill method. On all aircraft arrivals, review the log book for open item requiring maintenance work. Keep aircraft log book up to date per customer requirements. Ensure that original log pages or copies are included in work package when aircraft is released. Enter all data into work card maintenance in STAAR accurately. Perform inventory of work package every Wednesday to a 100% count and scan the report to Vice President of Operations, Director and Sr Manager of Planning. Perform daily inventory 3 days or 150 job cards open prior aircraft departure. Perform shift to shift inventory when work package has less than 75 job cards open and scan the report to Vice President of Operations, Director and Manager of Planning. Maintain current all run books for maintenance. Assist all managers and supervisors with data information and location of work cards. Ensure all customer and company documentation procedure are being adhered to. Continuously maintain work card status. Provide current runs to Managers and supervisors as required. Keep Project Managers and Supervisors informed of all work cards with excess time applied. Maintain a clean and organized planning booth at all times. Perform a primary inspection inventory to a 100% count daily till the primary is complete. Keep inspection and maintenance personnel updated on any customer supplied tallies that will require a stamp. Assist the planning department as required with work package preparations. Interact with planning and the contract group as required Three times a day verify parts racks. Prior to the closing of the work package ensure all AAR forms are accounted for and closed in Staar. If there are more than 15 job cards for buy back, notify Project Manager by e-mail. Assist Project Manager in preparation of Customer Daily Status Report. Keep track of Outside Services to be received no later than 24 hours once the service is done using Staar report IC521. Consistently ensures that only authorized persons have access to the booth. Trains the personnel assigned to him/her as apprentices and ensure the trainees familiarity with policies, procedures and safety standards. Follows standards of behavior and appearance for all staff members. Asks questions as necessary to increase knowledge or skill. Complies with all safety procedures at all times, without exception. Complies with all AAR Aircraft Service Miami policies and procedures which apply to him/her. Keeps him/herself informed of such policies and procedures and asks her/his manager for Explanations of anything which she/he does not fully understand. Takes those prudent actions appropriate to the preservation of company and/ or customer assets, whether in monetary or other form. Attends work related training as scheduled. Performs other tasks as may be reasonably assigned by her/his manager.

Office skills including heavy typing and filing required. EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE High school education or G.E.D. preferred. PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORK ENVIRONMENT The physical demands and work environment characteristics described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Able to climb on ladders and platforms and work at heights up to fifty feet from the ground. While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be regularly required to sit, stand, bend, reach and move about the facility.
