Responsibilities:

• Supporting the PO with Blending applications and some Refinery Scheduling applications, as well
• Point person for any IRM type tasks, recurring IT tasks, keeping things moving along in queue
• Guide priorities and direction to MSP
• Understanding details of integrations between all applications, databases and servers
• Build dataflow diagrams o Interface with product line architect on database approaches
• Use Synapse, SQL, perform queries
• Troubleshooting, enhancements, validations, testing, mapping between various tools
• Involved with a lot of reports and dashboards.
• Not building but making sure they are functional and understanding them
• Thinking clearly on approaches, looking at problems
• Problem solving and critical thinking
• Working with 3rd party tools like MBO (blending) and MES (scheduling)

Qualifications:

• Strong communication and analytical skills
• Team first mentality (working with multiple disciplines from IT team to business to Pos)
• Worked in Azure environment
• Familiarity with applications such as APS, Flowers, MES (or competing tools like Oracle Primavera or AVEVA)
• Refinery Blending & Scheduling within O&G -> "Gold standard" if they had the experience.
• Onshore resource, either San Ramon, CA or Houston, TX
