Customer Service Representative

American Cruise Lines, the leader in luxury small ship cruising throughout the U.S., has an exciting opportunity for a Customer Service Representative. In this position you will provide superior customer service support to new and existing passengers on our world-class cruises. American Cruise Lines is the largest U.S. cruise ship operator. The company is growing fast and operates 50 Luxury river and coastal cruises in 35 states around the country.

Schedule and Benefits:
  • American Cruise Lines offers a comprehensive benefits package, including medical/dental insurance and 401k.
  • Must be able to work 5 day - 8 hour shifts, including weekend availability.

Responsibilities:
  • Be the frontline contact with our customers before and during scheduled cruises.
  • Coordinate special requests for all passengers.
  • Support ongoing sales operations.
  • Assist with payment and reservations.
  • Handle all guests concerns with understanding and curtesy.
  • Adhere to American Cruise Lines' policies.
  • Provide the best customer service to our guests.
  • Problem solve any issues that arise and provide a solution.

Qualifications:
  • Strong computer and data entry skills.
  • Superior phone and customer service experience.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Attention to detail, with the ability to work in a fast paced environment.
  • Great administrative and organizational skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information in a professional manner.
  • Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • A real passion for the travel industry.
