Insight Global is seeking an experienced Data Architect to join one of our leading customers in the financial industry. This role is supporting Architecture, Platform, and Strategy for a new initiative supporting Global Operation and Continuity Resiliency Applications. This effort will be changing the data landscape and architecture, as well as, building a new data platform for the next 5 to 10 years that could be leveraged in the Continuity space. Must be a senior-level individual contributor with the ability to initiate design, structure, and best practices for the data warehouse project and authorized data source protocols at the company.

Key Requirements:
Leadership (thought and technical) focus on infrastructure configurations, designs, and execution of infrastructure delivery programs
Lead infrastructure design and act as a liaison with this LOB.
Help to drive the budgeting and planning (capital forecasting) cycles with other groups within the organization.

Required Skills & Experience

7-10+ years of senior technical/development experience
Recent experience in a senior Architect-level role
Proficient in Oracle SQL / PL SQL
Previous experience supporting large-scale data warehouse projects
Ability to lead infrastructure configurations, design, and execution efforts
Well-versed in Agile methodology
Excellent written and verbal communication skills able to communicate complex technical ideas/concepts to business
Broad technical knowledge and awareness of emerging technologies (cloud, VMs, AI, etc.)
Strong interpersonal skills, including teamwork and facilitation
Demonstrated can do attitude.
Ability to take ownership and complete tasks independently with minimal direction and supervision

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Banking domain experience (especially in Compliance and Risk)
Experience in design and implement tools and frameworks for reusability and standards
Hands on experience on implementing CI/CD using the Atlassian ecosystem
Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience
