As a data engineer senior in our IT Commercial Lines (ITCL) organization, you’ll work to help develop our emerging data and cloud strategy. In this role, you’ll collaborate across the organization with business intelligence, data science, data governance and IT architecture leaders. You’ll be integral teammate in modernizing our data to the cloud. You'll also have the opportunity to influence our data strategy and data footprint with coaching, building, and deploying. As part of a strategic team, your endeavors will have a positive impact in a growing organization and help build our future capabilities with newer technologies.

This is a remote position for US based work only.

Must-have Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or higher in an Information Technology discipline or related field of study and minimum of two years of work experience designing, programming, and supporting software programs or applications.
• In lieu of degree, minimum of four years related work experience designing, programming, and supporting software programs or applications may be accepted.

Preferred skills

• Experience with building data pipelines and data designs
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC) working knowledge, such as Terraform and data orchestration tools
• Experience with AWS, Snowflake, SQL, and Git
• Development experience using Python
• Coaching/mentoring others on new technologies

Compensation

• $111,000-$136,000/year
• Gainshare bonus up to 30% of your eligible earnings based on company performance
