Description and Requirements

Lenovo is looking for a for a Data Scientist for a Summer Internship. This role will report into the Sr. Manager of Product Assurance where you will hone your skills in the following areas working on projects across Lenovo's product portfolios.

What you will do:
• Analyze raw data: assessing quality, cleansing, structuring for downstream processing
• Design accurate and scalable prediction algorithms
• Collaborate with business teams to bring analytical prototypes to production
• Generate actionable insights for business improvements
• Developing Data Science models using Python/R
• Projects on Analytics and Machine learning.

Basic Requirements:
• A current student enrolled in Master's program in Statistics/Data Science

Preferred Requirements:
• 6+ months experience in Data Science and Analytics, Machine Learning
• Good Knowledge on Python and Database management
• Demonstrated communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and respond to changing priorities quickly

This position will be based in Morrisville, NC (Raleigh area). This is not a remote internship; candidates will either need to be local or willing to relocate for the summer.
