Strategic Staffing Solutions is currently looking for a Database Administrator for a contract opening with one of our largest clients!

This is a Contract Opportunity with our company that MUST be worked on a W2 ONLY, NO visa sponsorship or C2C eligibility for this position. The details are below.

Job Title: Database Administrator W2 ONLY!!!!

Contract: 6 Months

Location: Tampa, FL

Job/Role Description:

• Responsible for building new or modifying existing database systems by producing the prescribed deliverables with direction and review by more senior staff. Utilizes appropriate development tools and technologies that align with TECO's IT architecture.
• May interact with outside consulting firm personnel and software hardware vendors.
• Scope of Services: Participate as a Database Administrator as part of a team of five DBA's.
• Will be involved in database upgrades, projects and operational support.
• Will be interacting with developers and end users.
• May be asked to work on-call hours in case of a storm or hurricane.

Required Skills/Experience:

• Core Skills: SQL Server, Oracle database, Powershell,
• Basic Knowledge: Active Directory, Linux, Windows, SSRS, SSIS, Azure
• Experience: 1 year - 3 years min
• Other Skills: Communication (oral and written), Judgement, Commitment to Excellence, Detail Oriented
