Job Summary:
The position will focus on clinical care of patients (inpatient, consult service and outpatient clinic) and research related to stem cell transplantation, hematologic malignancy and/or related graft versus host disease. The candidate will be expected to contribute to the development of cutting-edge clinical research protocols, their administration, accrual and analysis within an academic environment. The candidate will be expected to train the next generation of experts in the field.
The applicant will lead the program in hematological malignancies for the Division of Hematology-Oncology and report to the Division Chief of Hematology-Oncology.
Minimum Qualifications:
Must possess an MD or equivalent degree, be board-certified in Hematology and be eligible for licensure in the state of New York.
Significant clinical experience and demonstrated leadership skills in the field of acute hematological malignancies and bone marrow transplant
