Job Description

The Division Controller position is primarily responsible for the supervision of financial reporting and analysis of a division of the bank; provides financial and management information to division manager for decision and performance measurement purposes.

How You'll Spend Your Time

  • You will ensure the timeliness and accuracy of month-end entries, accruals, and general ledger reconciliations.
  • You will serve in a support capacity to various division cost center managers to improve aspects of financial performance
  • You will coordinate and/or participate in special projects as required by finance and executive management.
  • You will coordinate and/or participate with Human Resources in the development, review, calculation and payouts of the various business line and department incentive plans.
  • You will coordinate with Financial Accounting to document and understand the accounting process for each department within the division.
  • You will assist in the preparation of the annual financial statements and period regulatory financial reporting.


Education & Experience Requirements

This level of knowledge is normally acquired through a Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting with 4+ years of work related experience.
