What You'll Do:

The Adjutant General's Department is looking for an experienced Electrician II who will be able to troubleshoot, test, modifies and maintain complex electric security system.

This position will also:
  • Under general supervision of the Building Maintenance Superintendent this position will Install and replaces lighting fixtures, light bulbs, ballasts, switches and fuses for building lighting, outside lighting, run-way/taxiway lighting & lighting detection systems.
  • Maintains and repairs electric. lI wiring systems, fixtures, controls & equipment.
  • Climbs power poles to install, maintain and repair items

Qualifications
The following are the minimum qualifications for this position. For further consideration, applicants must clearly identify how qualifications are met within the education and/or experience sections of the applications. The ideal candidate, at minimum, must meet one of the following options.

Option 1: Demonstrate 18 mos. trg. or 18 mos. verifiable exp. in electrical work under supervision of experienced electrician; formal education in arithmetic that includes addition, subtraction, multiplication & division & in reading & writing common English vocabulary.

Option 2: Demonstrate 6 mos. exp. as Electrician 1, 52281.

-Or

Option 3: Demonstrate the equivalent of Minimum Class Qualifications f or e mployment noted above.
