Engineering Intern:
We are actively recruiting candidates to participate in our 2024 Internship program. This program is roughly 12 weeks in length, with the ability for some extensions, and will immerse you into the culture and operations of Rubber Fab. Throughout your internship, you will be given the opportunity and will be expected to contribute as an active team member within your respective department.
Projects will focus on following subjects:
QUALIFICATIONS:

Throughout your internship, you will be given the opportunity and will be expected to contribute as an active team member within your respective department.
Projects will focus on following subjects:
- Updated Manufacturing Drawings for Gaskets and Hose Components
- Updated Product Specifications for Gaskets and Hose Components
- Interact with Outside Sales Personnel in market investigation activities - documenting adjacent markets - size, problems, design, and development opportunities.
- Interact with senior management, build internal network and relationships with other employees across the organization, and make a difference in Rubber Fab's future success.
- Orientation training is provided at the start of work and student will report out on their activity periodically to representatives of Rubber Fab's senior management and Human Resources.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Currently pursuing a degree: Engineering or other Technical focus.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to acquire, assimilate, and analyze data from multiple systems and data sources using a variety of business intelligence and reporting tools.
- Strong communication and presentation skills adaptable for engaging with multiple levels across the organization.
- Ability to operate and take initiative in an environment of ambiguity; holds themselves and team members accountable for a high level of performance.
- Some project management and data analysis experience is important. Must have ability to reason and develop critical thinking skills.
- Must be able to read/comprehend written and oral instructions in English; read and comprehend safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals and product recipes/material identifications.
- Proficient with MS Word & Excel preferred.
- Self-motivated.
- Collaborative.
