Chenega Analytic Business Solutions (CABS) provides federal agencies and commercial customers with trusted insights into Records and Information Management, Administrative Solutions, Information Technology, Engineering, and Training. The Facilities Technician II shall perform management work and oversee routine building and maintenance. The Facilities Technician II will assist with the procurement of supplies, ensure proper operation, and perform preventive equipment maintenance of facilities in support of the Navy at Strategic Systems Programs Headquarters (SSPHQ).

Responsibilities
  • Continuously monitor the SP16PROCUREMENT platform and process/deliver supply orders.
  • Support SP16 procurement by maintaining supply inventory and developing supply lists for reordering of supplies and materials, reviewing specifications, and coordinating requests with government cardholders.
  • Assist with procurement of supplies, materials, services, delivery, and installation of supplies and equipment at SPHQ.
  • Keep office supply stock replenished and maintain storage rooms, supply closets, etc.
  • Provide labor for furniture reconfigurations, room modifications, and safe relocations as required.
  • Provide restocking, labeling, and organization of storage rooms and equipment as required.
  • Support SPHQ safety, emergency management, and fire inspections, and provide Building 200 fire warden extinguisher inspections.
  • Support the telecommunications program at SPHQ and serve as the liaison with service vendors for all repairs, maintenance, customer requests, and new work.
  • Supports the management of plan inventories of all equipment ( copiers, shredders, faxes.
  • Work will require lifting heavy objects to 50 pounds, bending, squatting, walking, and prolonged standing.
  • Travel up to 10% as required.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
  • 2+ years of facilities maintenance experience.
  • Must be a US citizen.
  • Background check required with the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Ability to understand maintenance, sketches, plans/blueprints, procedure manuals, and safety rules.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office software, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Project, and Excel.
  • Ability to schedule appointments and correspond via email.
  • Ability to exercise mature and independent judgment and initiative.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal skills, and professionalism under pressure.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment with the ability to switch priorities quickly as needs change.
  • Ability to travel up to 10% as required.
