SCOPE: Acts as liaison with physicians, patients and other office staff. Supports and adheres to the US Oncology Compliance Program, to include the Code of Ethics and Business Standards.

Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Scheduling meetings
  • Coordinates front office work and patient flow activities
  • Move appointments to fit in New Consults
  • Contributes to the team to achieve financial, operational and customer service goals
  • Balance team receipts daily and reconciles daily work
  • Trains new Front Office team members
  • Prioritize Clerical tasks
  • Checks-in and checks-out patients in a timely, accurate and professional manner
  • Contribute to better organization and planning of physicians time
  • Attends and takes meeting minutes as directed in a professional and timely manner
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma or equivalent required. Minimum three years of medical office experience.

Vision must be correctable to 20/20 and hearing must be in the normal range for telephone contacts. It is necessary to view and type on computer screens for prolonged periods of time.
