KPMG is currently seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) or Divisional Head of Finance to join our Audit operating division.

Responsibilities:
  • Report to the Firm CFO and have a strategic role in the overall management of the company as a key member of the finance and business executive management teams; inspire, lead, and motivate a team of finance professionals supporting the Audit Practice
  • Participate as a key member of both finance and business leadership teams to develop and implement the Function's financial goals and objectives, and ensure they align with the overall company strategy; work with senior teams to profitability grow the business by formulating strategies and plans, including sales, services, and sector performance management
  • Oversee all finance operations including budgeting, financial forecasting, financial analysis, and cash flow management, including billing and collections; work closely with the controllership function to ensure integrity of financial results, maintain and enhance the firm's high standard of internal controls, and understand recent financial trends and outcomes
  • Coordinate the preparation of management and operational reporting including proactively identifying opportunities and or risks warranting proactive analysis; ensure compliance with local, state, and federal budgetary reporting requirements; identify and execute opportunities for operational efficiencies
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with senior executives to identify their needs and seek a full range of business solutions; provide executive management with advice on the financial implications of business activities
  • Manage processes for financial forecasting, budgets, and consolidation and reporting to the company; offer recommendations to strategically enhance financial performance and business opportunities; collaborate effectively across the organization

Qualifications:
  • Minimum fifteen years of recent work experience including experience as a CFO, divisional head of finance, or similar relevant role
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university in accounting, finance, or related field; MBA from an accredited college/university, CPA or related advanced degree is preferred
  • In-depth knowledge of corporate finance and risk management practices; prior professional services experience preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and people skills; strong leadership and organizational skills, including people management
  • Deep knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods; proficient in the use of MS Office and financial management software
  • Ability to strategize and solve problems; have an analytical mind and be comfortable with numbers
