Google Cloud Engineer (onsite)

Location: Pleasanton - California, USA

We are looking for Google Cloud Engineer for an immediate need. This is a client-facing role & the candidate will have regular interactions with various client manager leaders.

Roles & Responsibilities:
• Build, and maintain highly available and scalable GCP infrastructure solutions.
• Develop and implement infrastructure as code using Terraform and Ansible
• Participate in the design and implementation of GCP migration projects.
• Analyze infrastructure blockers and provide effective solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.
• Participate in on-call rotation and respond to incidents in a timely manner.
• Identify opportunities to optimize infrastructure.
• Stay up to date with the latest GCP services, features, and best practices.

Required Qualifications:
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in GCP infrastructure engineering
• Solid experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform and Ansible
• Experience with GCP migration projects
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, or CircleCI
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Tight-knit collaboration and partnership skills

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $[120,000 - 149,600] depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
