Job Summary

Performs full life-cycle recruiting and provides coaching to hiring managers; throughout the process. Responsible for positively influencing and impacting the acquisition of top performers to support the company's strategic goals. Analyzes and recommends strategic recruitment solutions for meeting business needs and is responsible for the delivery of such services. Utilizes resources to deliver innovative recruitment solutions to fill TriWest's call center, healthcare, professional, and technical positions.

Education & Experience

Required:

• High School diploma or G.E.D.
• 2+ years of high-volume recruiting experience
• Experience using a variety of sourcing methods such as social media campaigns, partnering with staffing/search agencies, networking with diverse and special interest groups and participating in virtual job fairs
• Experience working in a high intensity environment
• Proficient with MS Office - Word, Excel, Outlook

Preferred:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, Health Administration, or related field
• Experience recruiting technical, clinical, and call center positions
• Experience utilizing PeopleSoft e-Recruit on-line recruiting tool

Key Responsibilities

• Keeps hiring managers and all appropriate parties informed of recruitment activity on specific openings. Reports on progress to goal.
• Conducts full life-cycle recruiting by sourcing candidates, screening candidates, negotiating offers, and arranging for pre-hire set-up. Ensures appropriate documentation is entered and retained. Assures a stellar applicant experience.
• Coordinates posting of open positions on internal and external job search web sites to include diversity sites.
• Coach hiring managers during selection process to ensure consistent practices and compliance with employment law. Monitors hiring manager practices to ensure timely review and interviewing of candidates and completion and return of interview guides.
• Ensures and documents that recruiting activities support affirmative action plan.
• Telephone-screens candidates. Ensures that the hiring manager has timely, organized slate of interviews with pre-screened candidates. Reviews candidate information with manager prior to manager's interview.
• Administers Predictive Index tool and assists managers with comparing candidate to required skill set.
• Contacts employment references and confirms licenses when applicable to ensure quality hires and explores concerns addressed in interview.

• Develops job offers based on internal procedures and in collaboration with management. Presents the employment package, including offered salary, bonus compensation if applicable, benefit package, employment contingencies, and work details leading up to first day.
• Coordinates creative strategies and maintains candidate pool for staffing hard-to-fill positions.
• Takes appropriate steps and sells TriWest opportunities to candidates. Actively seeks out new avenues to recruit candidates for TriWest positions, including profession-specific web sites, college campuses, medical professional associations, and community networking groups. Prioritizes sourcing of Veterans and other diverse candidates.
• Participates in career fairs, involving weekends, after-hours. Actively networks to enhance awareness of TriWest employment opportunities.

Working Conditions:

• Works day shift with availability to work occasional overtime as needed
• Works within a standard office environment, with travel to field sites if needed, including overnight or longer stays
• Extensive computer work with prolonged sitting
• Ability to stand for long periods
• Ability to carry display booth equipment
