Implements human resources programs by providing relevant services, which may include recruiting and staffing, administration of compensation and benefits programs, training and development, employee or labor relations, and affirmative action/equal employment opportunity compliance.

• Provides consultative guidance and coaching to managers and employees on human resources-related matters, ensuring alignment with corporate policies, goals, and objectives.
• Advises employees and line management on the application of HR policies within the organization.
• Conducts employee orientations and provides assistance on organizational development topics, such as workforce or succession planning, training, and performance management strategies.
• Ensures adherence to existing HR policies, practices and procedures.
• Completes personnel transactions and maintains associated records.
• Ensures full functional and organizational compliance (documentation, document retention, reporting, etc.).
• Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, including EEO, FMLA, and FLSA.
• Collects and analyzes internal and external information/data in order to compare the Company HR practices to those prevailing in the market.
• Proposes and manages projects to improve functional and organizational performance.
• Serves as the Safran Brand Ambassador to promote the Safran within the local community of businesses, schools and candidates.
• Travels to other locations, vendors and training sessions when required.
• Adheres to safe work practices and contributes to the evolution of the health, safety, and environmental program and culture.
• Regular, predictable attendance is required.
• Fulfills administrative duties, as required.
• Other duties may be assigned.

Travel required, estimated at less than 15%.

Bilingual in English and French and/or English and Spanish - Preferred

This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.

• Most work is conducted from a sitting position, however, both standing and walking are required as well as ability to talk and hear.
• The employee is frequently required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust focus.

• Work sometimes involves working near moving or mechanical equipment. The employee is regularly exposed to fumes and airborne particles and toxic or caustic chemicals. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

Candidate skills & requirements
• Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university applicable to position. 2+ years of relevant experience required, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

• PC and Microsoft Office - advanced
• Federal and State Labor Laws - expert
• Organizational skills, ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines - advanced
• Ability to make effective and persuasive speeches and presentations on controversial or complex topics to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors - advanced
• Ability to work in a cross-functional/international team environment - advanced
• Ability to take initiative and lead projects from planning to execution - advanced
• Interpersonal, communication and facilitation skills - advanced
