54 mos. exp. or 54 mos. trg. in accounting &/or finance to include an advanced level of experience in spreadsheet software.
-Or completion of undergraduate core program in business administration, accounting, finance or related field; 30 mos. exp. or 30 mos. trg. in accounting &/or finance to include an advanced level of experience in spreadsheet software.
-Or completion of graduate core program in public or business administration, accounting, finance or related field; 18 mos. exp. or 18 mos. trg. in accounting &/or finance to include an advanced level of experience in spreadsheet software.
-Or 12 mos. exp. as Senior Financial Analyst, 66563.
-Or equivalent of Minimum Class Qualifications for Employment noted above. NOTE: Successful completion of the Fiscal Academy may be substituted for 4 mos. of required accounting/fiscal experience referenced in this portion of the minimum qualifications.

We are accepting applications for a Financial Analyst Supervisor within the Office of Financial Management, Revenue and Recovery Team, headquartered at the James Rhodes State Office Tower, 30 East Broad Street, 11th floor, Columbus, Ohio 43215.
What You'll Do:
Under the direction of the Revenue and Recovery Financial Manager:
- Supervise hospital insurance billing & accounts receivable (AR) staff.
- Monitor staff workloads & redistribute duties as needed; monitor staff work queues to track aging hospital & professional billing claims; maintain management approval worklist in EPIC billing system to review & approve escalated patient account issues requiring higher level approval.
- Handle escalated patient communication & inquiries about billing issues; reviews & approves patient medical account billing adjustments, approves billing settlement request; tracks & approves revenue deposits to ensure timeliness.
- Work with other departments to develop AR processes to account for agency's non-medical revenue; creates & reviews procedures to ensure efficiency & compliance.
- Run & reconcile monthly revenue reports.
- Provide guidance & training to financial staff.
- Develop & implement reports & compliance measures: prepares periodic reporting to Revenue Manager (e.g., director revenue reports, cost report items).
- Assist Revenue Manager in collecting data & creating special projects for CFO.
- Coordinate with auditors & work with staff to compile item to work with auditors.
- Implement agency & Revenue Manager updated policies..
- Respond to inquiries from internal & external sources.
- Assist other fiscal sections or CFO in fiscal projects.
- Assist & perform testing on implementation of new systems.
- Attend meetings in Revenue Manager's absence.
- Perform other duties as required.
