Roles and Responsibilities

As an In-Store Checker, the external contractor will need to take simulated trips throughout a grocery store to confirm item accuracy & availability. Key responsibilities will include:

Item Validation: Play a critical role in ensuring that data were surfacing to customers and earners within our apps is accurate and up to date. Confirm item availability, detail accuracy and locations throughout the store by closely following trip details.

Product Evaluation: Play a critical role in the testing phase of a new delivery process within the app. Execute trips according to defined protocols while closely observing the product's performance and providing feedback.

Feedback Loop: Act as an essential feedback conduit. Thoughtfully document your observations, highlighting challenges, opportunities, and recommendations that can elevate the In-Store Checker experience.

Timeliness & Accuracy Champion: Ensure precision in every step of the process while maintaining a quick and efficient pace. Thoroughly review and validate trip details while looking for items and confirming locations, meticulously adhering to instructions and providing feedback for process improvement.

Communication Hub: Maintain open lines of communication with our operations team. Swiftly report any encountered issues, delays, or factors that could impact the product's performance.

Photo Collection: Capture photos of products, bar codes, and shelves to help us gather and corroborate our already-collected data and to help us fine-tune our algorithms with greater precision.

Qualifications
- Punctuality and reliability are essential to maintain the integrity of the testing process.
- Keen attention to detail to uphold data accuracy and execute product evaluations effectively.
- Strong communication skills to work harmoniously with the Operations team and grocery store staff.
- Autonomous and able to manage time-sensitive tasks independently.
- Ability to be on foot and walking throughout a shift to handle trips across the area of operation
- Google Drive familiarity is a huge plus. Must be able to capture and upload photos to a shared drive on a regular basis.

Pay Details: $20.00 to $25.00 per hour
