The Academy Grounds, Irrigation Technician will be responsible for maintaining the campus of property on a day-to-day basis while assuming responsibility for the property's maintenance.

Position Responsibilities

Responsible for irrigation inspection, repair and installation

Maintains tools and equipment

Other essential tasks as assigned by the supervisor

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

High School Diploma, GED or equivalent work experience

Working knowledge of Toro and/or Rain Bird irrigation equipment

Self-Starter

Progressive experience with employer focused on irrigation

Ability to work outdoors 365 days a year

Ability to perform routine maintenance repairs with limited supervision

Preferred Skills

Bilingual

Physical Demands and Work Environment

Ability to work flexible hours to include nights, weekends and holidays is required

Ability to lift, move, push and pull equipment or boxes in excess of 40-70 lbs.

Must be able to handle outdoor temperatures for a reasonable period of time

Must be able to move around campus which includes gym, turf, fields, stairs, etc.

This role is considered essential and may be required to work during weather emergencies or business closures in order to meet operational requirements
