Responsible for the cleanliness and maintenance of the building in an industrial environment, including grounds and fixtures by performing the following duties.

Responsibilities

• Monitors building and grounds to ensure a neat and clean presentation and environment.
• Performs various cleaning and maintenance activities to include sweeping and mopping all surfaces, polish as necessary all floor space, and vacuum carpeted areas.
• Follows all written and verbal instructions.
• Cleans rest rooms to include disinfecting toilets, sinks and floors, and restocking rest room supplies as needed.
• Removes trash and disposes of in designated areas.
• 1. Maintains all equipment to include:
  • vacuum cleaners
  • trash cans
  • mop buckets
  • cleaning supplies
• Reports and repairs emergency maintenance problems and/or environmental hazards immediately.

Qualifications

• Previous janitorial experience required.
• Wears personal protective equipment in accordance with training guidelines.
• Adheres to all company policies and procedures paying special attention to health and/or safety procedures.
