Job description

Infosys is seeking a Lead Java Full Stack Developer. In the role of Technology Lead, you will be a technology professional adding value to a gamut of Software Development lifecycle stages. You will create detailed design artifacts like program specifications, test plans; and independently develop and review code and contribute to the go-live plan. This position is based out ofChicago, IL. This position may require re-location and or travel to project location.

Qualifications
Required

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.

• U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Residency required; we are not able to sponsor at this time

• At least 4 years of experience in Information Technology

• Contribute to the Design and develop high quality software for large scale Ecommerce and other integrated Applications

• Supporting the execution of this program ensuring quality delivery of digital artifacts in alignment with client's ecommerce roadmap

• Experience working with coordination of multiple teams

• Working on the code development, creating unit test cases

• Works with product team to understand project requirements

• Build reusable code and libraries for future use

• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability

• Technical documentation - Designing architecture, flow diagrams, documenting technical implementation approaches and pseudocode

• Device strategies, or innovative approaches that have significant impact on the application design

• Set and evolve standards and best practices for our application development team - Conduct code reviews and enforce standards

• Oversee development process compliance activities

• Guide/Mentor junior developers and empowering them on Springboot Microservices and related trends

• Strong experience with high volume B2C / B2B eCommerce systems

• Good understanding of microservice architecture

• Ability to design, develop and implement scalable, elastic microservice based platforms

• Excellent problem solving/troubleshooting skills

• Good exposure to JIRA/Confluence/GIT - Bitbucket preferably

• Resolves technical issues through debugging, research, and investigation

• Ability to work in team environment and client interfacing skills

• Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment

• Deep understanding of Digital Service and Customer Experience

• Should actively participate in communication with business stakeholders and participate in all SDLC lifecycles.

• Strong understanding of microservice architecture

• Should be capable of reviewing the work done by other team members and guide them in complex issues.

• Should have basic knowledge related to Agile methodology

• At least 8+ years of experience in software development life cycle.

• Ability to design and develop code components independently as per client requirements

• Contribute to the Design and develop high quality software for large scale Java/Spring Batch/Micro-service Applications

Preferred

• Resolves technical issues through debugging, research, and investigation

• Ability to work in team environment and client interfacing skills

• Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment

• Experience in developing web applications using at least one popular web framework (JSF, Spring MVC, Spring Boot)

• Excellent knowledge of Relational Databases and SQL
