- Provide our guests with personal service and attention to detail that will exceed their expectations.
- Serve food, soda, water, wine, cocktails, draft beer, and bottled beer.
- Work as a team with fellow associates and other service departments within View Boston Observatory.
- Support the service staff by clearing/cleaning tables and running food.
- Performs opening, closing, and side work duties as assigned.
- Knowledge of food, beverage, and retail outlets within View Boston Observatory.
- Assist in overseeing servers and provide guidance, support, and ensure the team meets performance goals.
- Conduct training sessions for new hires, ensuring they are well-equipped to deliver exceptional customer service and represent View Boston effectively.
- Handle escalated customer inquiries or issues, ensuring a positive resolution, and maintain a high customer satisfaction level.
- Generate and analyze guest service metrics and reviews, identifying trends and make recommendations for improvement.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as operations, events, IT, security, to ensure a cohesive and positive overall guest experience.
- Performs other duties as assigned by View Boston Management as needed.
- All applicants must be at least 18 years of age.
- Experience as a bartender for at least two years.
- Ability to interact with co-workers to assure compliance with company service standards.
- Must have basic knowledge of food and beverage preparations, service standards, guest relations and etiquette.
- Ability to multitask in a fast paced, team orientated setting.
- Must be able to read, speak and write English Language to communicate with guests.
- Ability to lift and transport items weighing 10-30 pounds, occasionally 50 pounds.
- Ability to work all events, including extended hours, nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Must have sufficient mobility to perform assigned production tasks including constant reaching, bending, stooping, wiping, pushing, and pulling for extended periods of time.
- Must have 2-3 years working in a fast-paced high-end club, or restaurant.
- High school diploma or equivalent. Some college preferred.
