Description:
JOB PURPOSE:
Lead duties and assigning accountability for maintaining supply & distribution performance standards. Productivity, efficiencies, and teambuilding. Ensure safety, quality, and efficiency standards are maintained.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Supervises hospital personnel and assigns priorities to jobs and day-to-day activities; schedules staff to cover areas during employee absences to ensure quality standards are met.
2. Supervises inbound hospital receiving and deliveries, supply par carts inventory and replenishment to ensure established quality standards are met.
3. Performs functions of the supply fulfillment technicians 50% of the time.
4. Supervises shipping functions to ensure all returns and repair shipments are sent within 48 hours of readiness.
5. Oversees the delivery of supplies to assure procedures are followed and replenished goods are delivered in a productive manner.
6. Communicates and prepares clear, concise records, reports, and other written materials.
7. Maintains the hospital in a clean and orderly condition; rotates stock as needed; performs cycle counts; disposes of trash, boxes and pallets; ensures the security of the hospital.
8. Demonstrates continuous effort to improve operations, decrease turnaround times, streamline work processes, and work cooperatively and jointly to provide quality seamless customer service.

Qualifications:
MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:
High school graduate or GED.

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Two (2) years of experience in receiving, inventory control environment.

MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW:
None.

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
One (1) year of supervisory or lead experience is preferred.
Experience in supervision and inventory control.
Hospital supply knowledge helpful.
Knowledge of computerized inventory control systems.
