Position Summary

Primary Responsibilities and Essential Job Functions:
• Proficiently operate Star Machines by loading and unloading parts in the machine.
• Perform machine adjustments to achieve the correct dimensions, finishes and quality.
• Complete program changes to the load/unload mechanism of the machine
• Modify and edit programming on the machine as needed.
• Distinguish when preset tools are required prior to inserting into tool holder.
• Perform any necessary machine adjustments or repairs in a safe manner.
• Identify when tooling needs replaced and change tooling effectively.
• Understand and follow work instructions, set-up sheets, routers, and camlink to properly set-up machines per customer requirements.
• Effectively gauge and measure parts produced
• 5S work area on a daily basis.
• Assist other departments with projects as needed.
• Perform other job duties as assigned by Supervisor.

Education/Experience:
• High School Diploma is required.
• Knowledge of g-code programming is preferred.
• Understand and complies with ISO procedures
• Ability to read routers and blueprint drawings
• Follow safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment.\\

Physical Requirements:
• Moderate physical effort consisting of: Frequently lifting or moving material up to 35 pounds.
