Job Description :

The Marketing Coordinator will assist the Marketing Manager in all aspects of promoting events held at Dickies Arena and Will Rogers Auditorium. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills and introductory social media and graphic skills.

QUALIFICATIONS:
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office including Power Point.
• Basic knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
• Must be detail-oriented and organized.
• Strong verbal and written skills in the English language required.
• Strong organizational, interpersonal and project management skills required.
• Ability to meet deadlines and follow through on project outline or strategies.
• Problem-solving and multitasking skills with a positive attitude.
• Meets or exceeds timelines in a fast-paced environment.

Additional Eligibility Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in marketing, film, communication or other related field.
• Minimum 1-2 years of corporate partnership or client support experience.

Essential Duties (Include, but are not limited to the following):
• Work with printers/vendors on all projects, including negotiating pricing, seeking out new vendors, getting quotes, sending files, receiving the produced piece, and getting the invoices in a timely manner.
• Assist with all activities on the Simmons Bank Plaza including booking Plaza bands/musicians, radio remotes, and other marketing activations.
• Assist with booking bands for the Reliant Club after FWSSR events.
• Assist with uploading graphics for all venue digital signage internally and externally.
• Book photographers for events as well as other needs for the branding of TDMC and Dickies Arena.
• Assist in creating shot list and managing all the photos for the Arena.
• Assist in escorting photographers at events, at Dickies Arena and Will Rogers Auditorium
• Help gather content for projects including pocket guide and year end book.
• Assist with on-site promotions, whether radio remotes or activations
• Assist in the non-creative projects for other departments including directional signage, meeting decks, HR flyers, etc.
• Assist with artist gifts, from researching ideas through the finished product.
• Assist in researching events and create hooks for events to help promote and push ticket sales.
• Assist in ordering graphics from promoters if they have an online ordering form.
• Assist with sending out event emails.
• Assist with surveys after each event.
• Assist with pulling tickets from box office for event promotions and charities.
• Ability to work nights and weekends in addition to traditional workday hours.
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Intellectual/Social demands:

While performing duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to multi-task under time limits and with moderate to high pressure situations. Position requires constant attention to details and accuracy of specified standards including following simple to complex (more than 3 steps) instructions, and concentration which frequently extends beyond 30 minutes at a time. This position also requires frequent use of interpersonal skills with internal and external clients. Employee will frequently communicate via radio and in-person with others and exchange accurate information. This position requires employee to frequently work both independently or as part of a team. Position also requires being able to recognize and resolve conflicts, by being able to openly communicate with clients.

Physical demands:

While performing the essential functions of this job, the employee will frequently operate a computer and other office devices such as calculators, telephones, copy machines, faxes and printers. Employee will constantly move about inside and outside various areas of the facility before/during/after events to interact with internal/external clients and supervise the work of employees during events. Employee must constantly communicate via telephone, email and in-person with others and exchange accurate information. Employee may occasionally be required due to business demands and event operations to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. As business, maintenance, operations or emergency situations require, employee may sporadically assist in lifting/moving 100 lbs. or more.

Work environment:

The duties of this position are performed primarily indoors but event work is at times required. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate, with the exception of event days, where the sound levels may be higher than moderate.
