Job Description:
  • Kitting materials and supplies (consumables and tools) to support Production Order.
  • Shop Floor Control - daily monitoring and upkeep of Plant Stock and Consumable materials to include reconciling quantity of issuance and locating and removing shelf-life sensitive material.
  • Works with Production Planning to support Production Operations.
  • Sorts, posts, and files such paperwork as inventory records, production schedules, and other production control data.
  • Keeps records of number of units shipped and number of jobs in production.
  • Estimates and logs production and time expenditure of a department.
  • May prepare shop orders indicating such factors as style, size, quantity, and priority.
  • May review stock records, consumption figures, and detail schedules to determine stock status against program requirements.
