MATH TUTOR

Job Status: PRN (as needed) Non-Exempt Hourly

Pay Scale: Will be dependent on education and experience.

Job Location: 4501 N. University Ave, Provo, UT

Your Goals & Objectives:

• Maintain an appropriate level of order in the classroom, and a pleasing appearance.
• M onitor maintenance of classroom furniture and equipment.
• Maintain positive and supportive learning environment that encourages student engagement
• Foster student cooperation.
• Exhibits warmth, patience, and is nurturing to students. Use school discipline structure.

Qualifications

Your qualifications will include:

• Experience working as a Math Tutor or Math Teacher.
• Strong understanding of high school math topics, Pre-Algebra, Algebra, Geometry, and Algebra 2, or equivalent math core curriculum.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, demonstrating the ability to explain concepts in a clear and understandable manner.
• Patience and creativity in helping students grasp math concepts.
• Availability to work part-time hours (One day per week)
• MUST be at least 21 years of age or older and able to pass a background check and drug screen
