Akkodis is recruiting for a Mechanical Design Engineer for a locomotive manfacturer in the Erie, PA area. This is an onsite contract position with a pay range of $50-$66 an hour, depending on experience.
As the Energy Storage Packaging Engineer provide the technical expertise required for design, build, and validation as necessary to ensure final system meets functional goals.

Qualifications/ Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college in Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent engineering degree.
• Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in a design or manufacturing environment.

• GD&T
• Stack Up Tolerances
• Proven mechancial design
• Local to the Erie area.

Pay Details: $50.00 to $65.00 per hour
