Job description:

• Network Implementation:
  • Lead and execute the deployment of Extreme Networks solutions, including switches, routers, wireless networks, and security appliances.
  • Ensure proper configuration, optimization, and integration of network devices.
• Network Optimization:
  • Continuously optimize network performance, capacity, and security in response to changing business needs and technological advancements.
  • Implement best practices for high availability, load balancing, and failover.
• Network Security:
  • Develop and maintain network security policies and procedures, including firewall configurations, access controls, and intrusion detection systems.
  • Monitor and respond to security incidents and vulnerabilities.
• Troubleshooting and Support:
  • Provide advanced-level support for network-related issues, including root cause analysis and resolution.
  • Mentor and assist junior team members in troubleshooting efforts.
• Documentation and Reporting:
  • Create and maintain detailed network documentation, including network diagrams, configurations, and change management records.
  • Generate performance reports and provide recommendations for improvement.
• Vendor Management:
  • Collaborate with vendors and partners to evaluate and procure Extreme Networks equipment and services.
  • Manage vendor relationships and contracts effectively.
• Capacity Planning:
  • Monitor network capacity and plan for scalability to accommodate future growth.
  • Identify and implement network upgrades and expansions as needed.
• Training and Knowledge Sharing:
  • Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies related to Extreme Networks.
  • Conduct training sessions for internal teams and share knowledge with colleagues.

Qualification:

• Bachelor's or equivalent Degree in the required field
