Job Title: Finance Controller, Financial Analyst

Location: 1 New York Plaza, New York, NY, 10004 (Minimum 3 days per week on-site, preferably to start the first date on site)

Duration: 12-Months-Contract

Pay Range is $56 to $61.30/hr. on W2

Job Description:
  • This position is in the Global Compensation Controller team, responsible for the functions relating to accounting and reporting of the carried interest compensation plans.

Responsibilities Include:
  • Prepare or review monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial close activities for carried interest compensation plans including mark-to-market revenue and expense, fund distributions, and payments to participants
  • Perform monthly reconciliations of balance sheet and P&L accounts
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly investment and compensation reporting schedules
  • Liaise with various internal and external stakeholders including Human Resources, Investment Management Controllers, Legal Entity Controllers, Financial and Regulatory Reporting, Tax, and client's fund and plan administrators
  • Maintain and update strong control environment/audit documentation
  • Assist with Ad Hoc requests and projects

Skills Required:
  • BS/BA in Accounting, Finance or Business
  • CPA candidate preferred
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of accounting/finance experience, compensation/investment accounting a plus
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office with emphasis on Excel

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and multi-tasking skills
  • Ability to prioritize and complete deliverables promptly with high attention to detail.
