PTG Logistics is an asset-based carrier and we've been in business for more than 25 years with offices and operations across the United States. We service a wide range of industries-from steel and building supplies to bread and ice cream-with great drivers and great equipment. Our company is growing rapidly, and we are seeking an experienced Local Delivery Driver (Class B or C Non-CDL) in our Mechanicsburg, PA location. The Driver will serve to support our transportation and logistics department in a safe and timely manner, and willing to train the right candidate.

Responsibilities: (include, but are not limited to)

• Transport finished goods and or raw materials over land to and from manufacturing plants or retail and distribution centers
• Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventative maintenance
• Document and log work/rest periods and miles spent driving and retain fuel/toll receipts
• Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures
• Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions
• Collect and verify delivery instructions
• Report defects, accidents or violations immediately

Requirements:

• At least 21 years of age.
• Valid Class B or C Non-CDL License.
• Minimum of 12 months verifiable driving experience.
• Meet PTG's MVR and risk rating qualifications.
• Lift and move product and pallets which may weigh up to 75 pounds.
• Satisfactory Employment Verifications for the past 3 years.
• No more than 2 Moving Violations and 1 at fault accident in the past 3 years.
• No DUIs in the past 5 years.
• Hands on experience with electronic equipment and software (GPS, ELD, etc.).
• Perform proper pre/post trips each day.
• Meet scheduled delivery times.
• Secure freight before, during, & after each delivery.
• Maintain vehicle operation and cleanliness.

The position offers:

$21.75 Per Hour + Overtime after 40 + Safety Bonuses & more

$22.75 For Class B Drivers with 1 year of experience.

The schedule for this role is Monday Through Friday, home daily.
