The Department of Nursing at USD invites applications for a full-time advisor/recruiter. The grant funded advisor/recruiter will be responsible for supporting the development of a nursing workforce that is representative of the state through targeted recruitment efforts. This role includes collaborating with the South Dakota Nursing Network (SDNN) and workforce development partners, develop relationships, and recruit individuals from underserved and Tribal populations into BSN and MSN nursing programs. This position will be responsible for raising awareness of the nursing profession, encouraging potential students to attend USD's nursing programs, and connecting students to community and university resources.
This position will be 12 months, full time and located in Sioux Falls or Vermillion. Salary will be based on experience and education.
Exceptional written and verbal skills are essential.
