Job Description:
Administrative Assistant
The candidate will be full-time member of the GDIT Program Support team. Primary responsibilities include:
- Manage travel calendar and update travel tracker for the Program Support Team
- Make travel arrangements in partnership with Program Support Team members and facilitate travel expense reporting in GDIT Concur System
- Facilitate process with ACF speaking engagement forms to be completed and submitted as part of the travel process
- Assist with administrative tasks for Program Support team leadership meetings as requested (e.g., preparing and disseminating agendas, meeting summaries, and action items)
- Five or more years of professional experience
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, respond effectively to ad hoc tasks, and meet critical deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including knowing when to ask questions to clarify understandings and make progress
- Attention to detail
- Effective interpersonal skills and a strong customer service orientation
- Experience with Microsoft Office tools, specifically Teams, Outlook, Word, SharePoint, and PowerPoint
