Under the general supervision of the Administration Manager [Staff Services Manager I (Supervisor)] in the Administrative and Technical Support Unit (ATSU), the Office Support Technician provides administrative and clerical support to four units within the Division of Mine Reclamation (Division). The incumbent is expected to exercise a high degree of initiative and independence performing assigned tasks while applying knowledge and application of detailed regulations, policies and procedures. Good judgment and the ability to communicate effectively is of primary importance at this level.

Working Conditions

This position is located in Sacramento County and is eligible for a hybrid telework schedule, with two days in office. Employees must reside in California and be able to satisfactorily perform their essential work functions independently and remotely. The hybrid telework schedule will allow for up to three days of remote work per week depending on department needs.

Candidates who reside outside of the State of California may be admitted to the job interview but must show proof of residence in California prior to being eligible for appointment.
